Terms of use
Last updated 28 September 2026
These terms apply when you use CurtainChatter, the website and the apps. CurtainChatter is run by Birk Skyum (see the imprint). How we handle your data is in the privacy page.
What CurtainChatter is
A free guide to what is on stage in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, compiled from the venues' own announcements. We do our best to keep it right, but dates, casts, prices and availability can change or be wrong: the venue and its official ticket shop always have the final word. We do not sell tickets; the ticket links take you to the venue's own shop.
Your account
You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account. An account is for one person; keep your password and devices safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time on your account page.
Fair use
Use CurtainChatter for yourself and the people you go out with. Do not collect its content in bulk with scripts or bots, try to get around its security, or use it to harass anyone. We may limit or close an account that does, and will tell you why.
What you write
When we open reviews and other ways to share, what you write stays yours. You let us show it on CurtainChatter for as long as you keep it there. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful or that is not yours to share; we may remove content that breaks these rules or the law, and you can report anything you think does.
Our responsibility
CurtainChatter is provided as it is, free of charge. We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for harm to life, body or health, and as far as the law says we must be. Otherwise we are not liable for the accuracy of listings or for what happens at the venue or in its ticket shop.
Changes
We may change these terms as CurtainChatter grows. If a change matters for your account, we will tell you in good time before it applies, and you can delete your account if you disagree.
Law
Swiss law applies. If you live in the EU, the consumer protection of the country where you live still applies to you, and you can go to court there.
